Dan Pelzer loved to read. Over his lifetime he kept a list of the books he read. No likes or commentary, just a list. 3, 599 books checked out from the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
Dan passed away in July 2025 but his list lives on. There is a lovely tribute on Instagram for Dan, from his daughter and a reel from the library.
It reminds me that when I was young I thought about starting a list of books that I had read, but I never got around to it. Maybe I will start one … today. It won’t be as comprehensive as Dan’s list.
